The Incredible Degradation of the Con Monster Chris Alexander

He has been keeping a low profile after voters in his riding gave him the boot, for having among other things poisoned our body politic, with his callous approach to the Syrian refugee crisis, his divisive, bigoted rhetoric.

And his ghastly Barbaric Cultural Practices campaign complete with a snitch line, which shamed us in the eyes of the world.

But now Chris Alexander is back on the street, and if you thought he might be just a little bit sorry about the barbaric way he behaved, you'd be wrong.

He's totally unrepentant.

“We’re still the party that sees reality as it is, doesn’t want to go on some hippy-trippy jaunt down memory lane and put marijuana in the windows of every store,” he said in an interview Tuesday on Ottawa’s Sparks Street.

Still talking like a rabid right-winger. Still claiming he had nothing to do with the death of the Syrian toddler Alan Kurdi...

“I spent two weeks being called a baby-killer by other MPs and by people in the media. That was not pleasant.”

Trying to make us believe we should feel sorry for him.

When in fact the evidence suggests that if he had just lifted a finger to help the other members of the Kurdi family, as they were begging him to do, that poor little boy might still be alive.

Anyone who breathes a sigh of relief that Canada turned out not to be so directly implicated in the death of little Alan and his brother and his mother: They’re deluded. Anyone who imagines that Canada is off the hook for the shame, the agony and the hopelessness that Mohammad and his family continue to endure, then there is something dangerously wrong with them.

But if you think that Alexander could not sink any lower, think again. For not only does he claim that there was nothing wrong with his xenophobic Barbaric Cultural Practices crusade...

“Suddenly we ended up in a campaign talking about second-class citizens? That concept does not exist in Canadian law. It should not exist in public debate. We did not introduce it to the debate. When it was introduced by the party that’s now won the election, we didn’t counter it enough,” he said.

He blames others for poisoning the campaign.

“We don’t have room in this country for poison like that and people deserve in an election to know what the law actually says, the protections they enjoy in this country, what opportunities they enjoy in this country compared to virtually every country in the world. But that failed to be communicated.”

Which has to be the absolute limit of his moral degradation.

And the good news? Even the clown Paul Calandra knows that Alexander's foul and divisive campaign helped kill the Cons.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper's handpicked parliamentary secretary says the Conservative Party's focus on identity issues — the niqab, stripping citizenship from dual nationals and launching a barbaric cultural practices hot line — was a mistake that cost the party votes among new Canadians.

So Alexander's political career couldn't have ended in greater failure

And his slow descent into the hell of his own making couldn't be more complete.

The promising young diplomat who sold his soul to Stephen Harper...

Decayed like the ghastly portrait of Dorian Gray...

And ended up an absolute monster...

And since hopefully I will never have to write a word about Alexander again, as he slips into well deserved obscurity.

All I can say is I hope the memory of little Alan Kurdi haunts him for the rest of his life.

And how lucky we were to get rid of him and his foul Cons, and their depraved leader.

Before they poisoned the soul of this country...

<a href="http://thwapschoolyard.blogspot.ca/2011/04/harpercon-candidate-in-ajax-pickering.html>I had his number from when he first ran for Parliament.</a> I truly hope that his future prospects are permanently damaged by his loathsome behaviour.

Clearly the senior Cons especially ex-Cabinet ministers are still in denial. Calandera re C 24 and citizenship" "There was a lot of confusion and a lot of first-generation Canadians said 'OK, we're not ready to endorse that"

No there was no confusion. It might not have helped that, IIRC, it was Jason Kenny did point out that Tom Mulcaur could be deported for some crimes since he holds French Citizenship ( I believe his wife is from France).

If a senior Con minister suggests the Canadian-born Leader of the Opposition can be deported, a lot of immigrants and probably a lot of their Canadian-born children had reason to worry. Some countries assume citizenship whether one wants it or not. A possible example of this is seen here http://myitaliancitizenship.com/downloads/TorontoApp.pdf.

I remember back in the 1980's and/or 1990's young Italian-Canadian men would go to Italy to visit the grandparents and suddenly find themselves conscripted into the Italian military. Oops

"The promising young diplomat who sold his soul to Stephen Harper..."
Simon, if that guy wasn't that type of twisted fuck to begin with, he never would have gone in that direction. heil harper didn't corrupt him...he just gave him permission and a place to act out and then he just turned him loose. It backfired, obviously.
Stop wasting time pretending this guy ever had the potential to be anything other than that which he really is. Leopards don't change their spots...remember the story about the frog and the scorpion, Simon.

Fact check: "I mean, I spent two weeks being called a baby-killer by other MPs and people in the media,"
Google search shows no instance of anyone calling him a "baby killer" during the election. Not a single occurrence. Perhaps some MP or media pundit told him so in private, but not in a public forum. He, like the rest of the defeated Harper crew, is simply making this up and he owes an apology to us all.

The Harper Cons like to think their "enemies" have a derangement syndrome. None of them could distinguish between truth and lie.

Most of the pundits say the niqab issue was the turning point in the election. I disagree. It was the nastiness shown by Chris Alexander that sunk the ship.

Good riddance.

Sore loser comes to mind reading Alexander's pathetic excuses for his appalling handling of the refugee crisis and the total embarrassment of his "campaign". The "barbaric cultural practices" tip line stunt goes down as one of the most racist tactics ever presented to the public and he and Leich deserve heaps of scorn for being associated with that. Hopefully nobody in the media ever puts a microphone in front of his foul mouth again and he goes off into obscurity wearing this debacle for years to come. Utterly shameful.

Keep in mind Alexander, as with all Con MPs, was just doing his master's bidding. As was previously stated, Alexander is in denial.

How dare they speak of "barbaric cultural practices" with the current situation in Val d'Or, where Algonquin and Cree women are coming forward about systemic sexual and other abuse (such as leaving women in the woods, without boots, in the snow) by the Sureté du Québec? Or even the drunken yobs destroying everything on their path, at a typical "hockey riot"?

On a lighter note, some Dutch-style "coffeeshops" might be just the key to revitalizing Sparks Street.

Oh no, he spent a whole two weeks of his privileged, rich white male life being criticised for doing his job poorly! It was NOT PLEASANT!!!
My heart bleeds for him, for the painful suffering of this unspeakable tragedy! Poor Chrissy baby! Never mind that his tyrannical policies directly led to immense suffering for years by thousands of humans living in the worst conditions on the planet, often resulting in a gruesome death in the bloody dirt, instead think of poor, poor Chris Alexander being held responsible for his actions and his life briefly made unpleasant!

Woe! Woe to him!

What a petulant spoiled brat of the type that so exemplifies the Conservative party membership (it feels good to not write Conservative government!) with their selfish, petty, money-grubbing privilege and sense of grandiose entitlement.

A sore loser and a loser in every ethical sense of the word.

"Hello barbaric cultural hotline Chris speaking how may I help you?" Ya this is Raven an older species than you and most indicatively wiser. "Okay how may I help?" Well sir there is a cultural barbarian running rampant in the immigration office who is practicing barbaric practices. "Oh who and what would that be?" Well see as a member of the corvoidea superfamily we normally when we have wackos shooting at us we fly away. "Oh I see Mr. Raven good idea you must be smart like me is that the barbaric practice you would like to report?" No Mr. Alexander not me I'm concerned about I can fly and be free. "Oh..." You see it is a certain immigration Minister that goes by the moniker Chris Alexander. "You mean me?" Yes you fucking asshole look up and open your mouth. "What?" (looking up opening mouth)

Dammit Simon I got him I was flying over him on Sparks street saw his open mouth while he was on his cell phone and I relived myself right into that dumb shit of a potty mouth. Rrrraaa rrraaa rrraaa :>

There is an article in the Vancouver Sun on October 8, 2015, written by Naomi Lakrtiz from the Calgary Herald, in which Lakritz calls the "Barbaric Cultural Practices Hotline" ... the title of the article says "LAKRITZ: HELLO, HOTLINE? ... I'D LIKE TO REPORT STEPHEN HARPER" ... IF I could, I would like to NOMINATE this article AND Naomi Lakrtiz, to receive some kind of a "Reporters" Award for best story for 2015 ... I will start with the NEWSPAPER itself ... Please find and read it ... Thanks for Listening ... TY

Sadly, the woman standing to the left of Chris Alexander in the photo in this posting, Kellie Leitch, is reportedly a contender to replace Harper. While she is obviously an intelligent woman (an orthopaedic surgeon), apparently, she was more than willing to sacrifice herself by drinking deeply of the Harpo Brand KoolAid.

some people really believed all the stuff Steve was selling and we can see Chris and kellie are two of them. Now Chris is out of a job.

There are worse things than being called a baby killer. You can be the baby who died. Not to mention living on a reserve without clean drinking water for all of your life. Chris can go take a nice vacation, collect his pension, and he doesn't have to talk to anyone, and sit in his nice home.

Errr..., actually I DID call him a baby-killer. But I used my inner voice and hopefully NO ONE can hear my inner voice. I would hate to think that others can hear my inner voice. I mean, how do you control that?

hi thwap...I think Alexander has done himself a lot of damage. He really is a rabid right winger, and for an educated person he seems bestial and ignorant. But I'm sure he won't find it hard to get a job working for some kind of right-wing think tank, or the CIA...

hi jrkrideau...as soon as i heard about Bill C-24, which by the way also affects me, I was sure it was aimed at Tom Mulcair. And that if Mulcair had been leading as the election neared they would have tried to use the law to discredit him. But the good news is that it never struck them that it might backfire, and that all their pandering to different ethnic groups might be for nought. The bigot clowns, serve them right...

Simon said...

hi Prince Kamana...I know, I know, every time I say that about him or Rempel, I get roasted by my readers. I keep hoping for the best, and for an honest Con, and I am always disappointed...

Simon said...

hi p2p...I'm glad you pointed that out. I never heard anyone call him a baby killer either. He's only using that to make people feel sorry for him and it couldn't be more pathetic. And I think you're right. The niqab issue was appalling, but the Barbaric Cultural Practices number, was the straw that broke the camel's back. I would really like to know who came up with that idea...

Simon said...

hi bcwaterboy...yes sore loser would be a good description, He showed no class when he was in office, and none when he left it. And believe me Leitch is going to pay for having lent her name to such a disgusting scheme. I think she know she made a mistake, because I have a picture of her at that event and you can see worry all over her face. She too should have known better, but in her frenzy to please her leader she let him corrupt her, as he has corrupted so many others...

Simon said...

hi David...that's true, but the feverish way he set out to please his master, struck me as going beyond the call of duty. His pathetic performance during his interviews with Rosemary Barton and Carol Off made that only too clear....

Simon said...

hi lagatta...yes that situation in Val d'Or is truly sickening and makes me despise the SQ even more than I already did. I never had much respect for them since the Oka crisis. But as for Sparks Street, you're right. It is a dismal mall, and having spent many a night in downtown Ottawa, I can truthfully say there are be few bleaker places I have ever visited. No wonder they all sleep with each other, that's about all you can do to keep from being bored to death...;)

Simon said...

hi Noah...I know, that exactly how I reacted. First I was stunned, and then I was disgusted. He really is a petulant split brat who reminds me a lot of some of the Cameron Cons. Arrogant, brutish, and without an ounce of sympathy for the real victims of this world. Who needless to say DON'T include him....

Simon said...

hi Raven...oh good shot. Although he does have a big mouth so it wasn't THAT hard. ;)
But seriously, when I hear the words 'cultural barbaric practices" they send a shiver down my back, because they sound so utterly fascist. And to see him proclaiming his innocence and blaming others for spreading his prison is nothing less than obscene....

Simon said...

hi Ty... thanks for the tip and thanks to there person who provided the link. I love the way this blog's readers help others, and contribute so much extra information. And yes it is a good article. For nobody has violated our culture and our values more than has Stephen Harper. The last ten years have been an unbelievable nightmare and I am so glad we finally got rid of him...

Simon said...

hi political junkie...yes as I mentioned above, I have a very revealing photo of her at that event with Alexander, where she looks almost disgusted by what she is doing. As she should be. I am saving the photo for a post on her, because she's a doctor, I hold them to higher standards, and she should know better than to behave like that...

Simon said...

hi e.a.f... yes the main thing is we are rid of him as well as all those other Con clowns, like Fantino and Aglukkaq. We really did shake the Con tree, and brought in an excellent harvest. How low and how rudely have the mighty fallen...

Kellie Leitch, like Alexander was not corrupted by harper. He had a gift for picking the already corrupt ones in the crowd. I recommend the article in the Huffington Post by Amy MacPherson of 21 October 2013 to see what she is really like.
