Maxime Bernier's Really Bad Driving Day

Golly. I bet the Cons are really regretting having gone after Tom Mulcair for ignoring a stop sign on Parliament Hill.

For not only did it make them look ridiculous.

It also made them look hypocritical.

And now to make matters even worse eh?

Watch out  !!!! Here comes Maxime Bernier !!!

The Conservative minister Maxime Bernier was stopped for driving without a valid driving license last weekend.

According to the Journal de Montréal the incident occurred when he was intercepted for violating the Highway Code in Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce on Sunday. He was driving his partner's company car that was immediately towed and confiscated.

His press secretary explained that the minister didn't know that his license had been revoked for failing to pay a fine resulting from another violation of the Highway Safety Code.

Gawd. I realize Bernier is an extreme libertarian, but this is ridiculous eh?

Don't the Cons have ANY respect for the authorities? What can we do to keep them off the road before they kill someone?

And what did that ridiculous oaf Jason Kenney say about traffic rules and respecting the law?

Right.

You know a man Kenney might admire, the English preacher and theologist Frederick William Robertson, once wrote:

There are three things in this world that deserve no mercy, hypocrisy, fraud, and tyranny.

And since Stephen Harper and his foul regime are clearly guilty of all three, they shall receive no mercy either.

In the meantime may I suggest that if the Cons ever dare bring up Tom Mulcair's driving record again, the NDP should mention Maxime's really bad driving day.

And his colourful record...

As for the Cons can they PLEASE arrange for the PMO to pay for that damn traffic ticket.

Like Nige fixed Duffy's problem.

And if they won't give him a limo like Bev Oda...

So he doesn't have to drive around in a private company's car. And then lose it.

Can they please warn us when Mad Max is coming?

Or at least give the poor man a car.

He can safely drive...

He really isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, eh?

(En québécois: "Il n'est pas un Cent Watt")

Happy Aboriginal Day and St-Jean, by the way. The Aboriginal Day events here were splendid.

hi lagatta...no, il n'est pas un Cent Watt. But I must say I can't believe that the English MSM hasn't picked up the story. Talk about the two solitudeas. Of course, I can't feel too strongly about Maxime, he's not the worst Con, and I feel sorry for anyone who comes from the Beauce... ;)
Happy Aboriginal Day and St-Jean to you too !!
